Question
Dr. Mark
Thank You for responding so quickly. I have talked to my dentist again,he said I have a 96% with the Fixed Prosthsis.
I am not concerned as to how long this will take time is not the issue. I read almost every entry in this Q & A section,I had not read of any case like mine. Is there a high sucess rate in bone graph? People that have Fixed Prosthsis are they happy with them? Thanks again for responding. C~

Answer
Dear Candice,

The success of a bone graft depends entirely on how it is used; it works well when placed in enclosed bone defects, but tends to work poorly when it extends beyond the external contours of the bone. When a graft is placed where there is an adequate blood supply, it stands a better chance of escaping resorption.

Fixed bridges tend to be better accepted by patients than removable prostheses, because they more closely simulate the experience of chewing with natural teeth.

Hope this helps...
