Answer   Dear Sonia:  I'm not quite clear on what you mean by "face little hang".  BUT, if you mean it looks swollen or enlarged, or like there is a bubble under your cheek or jaw, it is likely that there is some infection in there.  I don't know if it is due to your crown problem, nor do I know what your crown problem is. You need to see your dentist, or a root canal specialist, as soon as you can, for an evaluation.  If it is infection, you want that infection treated before it enlarges further or spreads further.  Good luck.  dd

Hi there again,
you are right I feel like swollen on my jaw.
is it infection if it is what i can do at home rinse with antibectarial or something else.
actully i went to dentist but she says i cant see your swollen its not that bed but i can see and feel it. so am trying to get rid at home by my self.if you know any thing that available over the counter please let me know i appreciate that.
Thanks alot
Sonia

Answer
Dear Sonia:  The only antibacterial rinse I recommend without a prescription is Listerine.  But it won't solve your problem because it won't get to where the infection is.  If you believe you are swollen, and your dentist does not, find another dentist, or go to your doctor, to confirm whether or not you have an infection.  This is important.  dd

Experience

Having attained over 30 years of clinical experience in private practice in Michigan, in 2001 I was re-certified by taking and passing the Florida State Dental Board Examination. After moving to Florida, I spent nearly 10 years re-honing my skills while working as an Associate Dentist for several large dental groups. I am certified in placement of Mini Dental Implants, and I am Director of The Florida Implant Center (floridaimplantcenter.com). On March 1, 2010, at the age of 62, I began all over again by buying a dental practice near my home in the Fort Lauderdale area. As sole owner and Chief Dental Officer of the new Nob Hill Dental Center (nobhilldentalcenter.com), I can now carefully provide dental care to patients who care, all within a caring, joyful environment. Over my career lifetime, I have provided thousands of diagnoses, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, periodontal treatments, TMJ therapies, partials, dentures and extractions, and dozens of implants for my patients. The only aspect of dentistry with which I have very little experience is orthodontics.
