Dentistry/Tongue lump

Question
I was feeling with my tongue the squishy area of the tongue, and felt a thick feeling I was not sure was normal.  I looked in a mirror, and saw two small red lumps on the middle of  the 'connector' between my tongue and the bottom of my mouth.  Is this normal?

this is impossible to diagnose over the internet. i would have to see your tongue in person to tell you what is going on here. it might just be normal anatomy. there are two salivary gland duct down there. perhaps they are inflamed and looking a little puffier. they sometimes will look like what you are describing. the best thing to do here is call your dentist and get in there for an evaluation. if you have trouble getting in, you can even go into an oral surgeon's office for an exam. these are the people who do a lot of tissue diagnosis. so call someone, get in, get a diagnosis and put your mind at ease. good luck,
