Dentistry/Tooth Pain

Question
twice this year my small dog has jumped quck as lighting up on my lap, with her head making contact under my chin. The second time (3 months ago) caused minor chipping on the edges of my front teeth. As of today my tooth is more sensitive to cold and has dull pain. Can there be nerve damage? if so will it heal in time?

Answer
If this tenderness is from the injury of 3 months ago that trauma might have devitalized the tooth and at this time you might require a root canal therapy. Get in to have an x ray taken and an evaluation. Get a smaller or slower dog.
If it's so, then the tooth will not heal without the rct.
Good Luck,
