Dentistry/White on gums

Question
Recently I have noticed that the area on my upper gums around the teeth is a cloudy white, slightly rough, looks like its composed of small tiny bumps. I have never had many dental problems, and brushed but not flossed regularly, until now. They are painless, no red or bleeding, no tenderness, everything still has feeling and my teeth do not feel loose or receding. And its not patchy at all, it looks like white small bumps which surround where the teeth insert into the gums.

Answer
Can I ask you for some Blood exams ?  Dont be afraid; but it will help me to diagnose that white lesion.
It can be one kind of allergy to tooth paste, somekind of autoinmune condition,  somekind of viral infection....
Complete hemogram, and VDRL exam can be the first step.
Please, tell me if the white spots can be REMOVED with a piece of cotton.
