Dentistry/dentist had teeth fused to crowns

Question
I spent over$16,000. dollars on work on my lower teeth this
summer. When teeth were made the teeth are fused to the
crowns and bridges all together. When I chew it feels like
I have food packing between my teeth. Can fusing be unfused?
Should I get another dentist to do the work or require my dentist to correctt the problems I am having. He doesn't seem to care about the chewing on the cosmetics of his work?

Answer
The teeth were fused most probably for support. If you're getting food impaction as described perhaps the treating dentist will be able to recontour the restoration to your satisfaction. You should not settle if you're not happy. All these things are valid concerns that should be addressed.Give your Dr. an opportunity to satsify you before you seek treatment elsewhere.
