Question
I have a top denture plate with 6 teeth on it. Why is it that when I smile, the inside of my top lip sticks to the false teeth and leaves me with a funny looking mouth?

take this into your dentist and let him/her evaluate things. when we make these appliances, they are made without any lips around. maybe the plastic needs to be adjusted in some way...thinned, reshaped, polished, etc. i would think that something can be done to improve things for you. call and get an appointment. good luck. let me know if you have any other questions.
