Question hi
i want to ask u if the patient came in the 2nd visit of root canal filling and he has tenderness
if we leav the cavity and the canal opend is that a right thing or its wrong .
and if its wrong what we should do in this case.
with my best regard
Answer Dear omeed: Too little information. If the patient is tender at the second visit, I will usually complete the root canal, as that usually resolves the sensitivity. If I open the tooth and there is significant drainage that I cannot stop in a short time, I will usually re-pack the tooth with medication and have the patient return as soon as possible to complete the root canal. Hope I answered your question. dd
