Dentistry/flourosis

QuestionMy dentist told me that i have flourosis and that this condition is irreversible. He also said that i can just prevent futher damage by using a toothpaste without flouride. I found one that didnt contain any but as i carefully read through the list of ingredients i noticed one which said sodium monoflourophosphate. Is this also a form of flouride? If so, is there really such a product that doesnt contain flouride or do i have to settle for using toothpaste for babies? I have searched though a lot of stores and products and its really hard to find a brand thats ok for me to use. I live in the philippines by the way and the usual brands available are colgate, sensodyne and a few others which are imported and a bit expensive and hard to find. I hope you can help me in choosing which i can use safely. Thank you very much
Answerif you are looking for a fluoride-free toothpaste, try looking in a health foods store. they are the places that always carry these types of toothpastes. you mention that you live in the philippines. i am not sure if that will make it harder to find such stores. if you still cannot find what you are looking for, you can always try to find it online. go to google.com and "google" fluoride-free toothpastes. i know you will find countless listings there and should be able to order something online. good luck,
