Question
My grandchild fell and hit her front teeth  on the floor. the swelling is down now she has one buck tooth and the other one is back in.  We want her smile back is there anything that can be done.  She will be 2 years old this month.

Answer
Dear Ms. Whitehead,

Unfortunately, primary (baby) teeth have only limited ability to recover from an injury such as this. Any primary tooth that is visibly displaced almost always becomes devitalized and infected; the usual treatment is extraction to minimize the risk of infection.

Your grandchild should be examined by a dentist to assess the situation to see if the teeth need to be managed.

Hope this helps...
