Question
I started grinding and clinching after I had dental work each time untill it was finished.I did it really bad.I would catch myself in the mornings. It went away I havent been doing it now and I am almost back to normal.Have you seen that happen? Is this normal ? Is clinching and grinding the same as tmj or are they two seperate things? do they go hand in hand? Thanks for your time

Answer
Grinding and clenching could lead to tmj problems .If you find you stopped grinding your teeth you're fine. If you find yourself waking up every morning and your jaw is sore you might be grinding in your sleep. If this is the case a nightguard could help with this .
Good Luck,
