Question
i have sensitive teeth adnworn away enamel due to bruxism
am 43 y.o. lite complected amle with dark teeth and wanna lighten them
best method?
what delterious affects r there?
what tooth polish or strips or brightening toothpast should i use?

Answer
Hello,

In response to your question, the best method is chairside whitening procedure from your dentist, or your dentist may fabricate bleaching trays custom fit to your mouth.

The less effective methods are the ones you find int he drug stores, such as whitening strips or gels.

As a standard, you should be using a white ning toothpaste all the time.

See your dentist and discuss with him or her about the various options you have at your disposal.  The only side effect may be sensitivity after whitening (usually goes away within a few weeks).

Hope this helps.

Rishi Verma, DDS
