Question i am 25 years old and will not recieve any wisdom teeth. Some say its hereditary, but this is kind of bad because i have to have my 2 back teeth on the left side pulled due to neglect. have you ever herd of somebody not getting any wisdom teeth, and how common is it. and will i be able to have an implant put in in the future if there is no mollars on that side. thank u for your help.
Answer A panoramic film will be able to give the full scoop as to where those wisdom teeth are or not .More importantly,if you're going to have the first and second molars removed as you describe it would be in your best interest to replace these teeth with dental implants instead of fabricating a bridge that would attach to your wisdom teeth.Either way the implant would be the restoration of choice providing you're a candidate;ie:you have adequate bone and heal ok etc.
Good Luck,
