Question
Hello,

Can you help me please?
I have dermatitis in my hair and skin.
I went to a dermatologist he only gave me some kind of lotion for it. This will not cure it.
Do you know of any good cure medicine for it?

Thank you for your time

Answer
Dermatitis in your hair is called seborrheic dermatitis and is treated with over the counter T-gel or prescription Clobex Shampoo which is very effective.
Dermatitis of the skin is called eczema and is treated with mild soaps like Dove or Cerave Cleanser.  You need to use moisturizers like Cerave Cream 4-6 times a day on the eczema or dry skin.  Prescription topical cortisone like Triamcinolone is very effective but should not be used on the face groin, under the arms or under the breasts.  Other medication should be used in these areas like Locoid or Cloderm.  Dermatitis can be controlled but not cured.
