Dermatology/dime sized flat red spots - not itchy - 14 month old

Question
My 14 month old has had three dime - nickel sized flat red spots on his arm (1) and leg (2) in the past 2 months.  The one on his arm went away after about a month; however, the two on his leg are still there.

They do not seem to itch or be dry.  They become redder in the bath tub.  It looks a little like ringworm, but there is no "ring" it is all a pretty uniform pink or red color.

Any ideas?

Thank you!
