Dermatology/skin rash

My daughter has a rash only on the trunk of her body. It's been there for many years, it gets better than flares up again. We have been to several doctors who can't explain it. She was tanning in a booth yesterday to see if that would help. It glowed green and black under the light, some spots were draining a black colored thick fluid. What can this be please help her.

Without seeing the rash it is difficult to make a diagnosis. With difficult rashes we always do a biopsy to help us determine the cause of the rash. Has a biopsy been taken of the rash?  Rashes can be caused by dry skin, medications, infections, allergies, systemic diseases, and others.  Medical school departments are usually better at diagnosis.
