Question
Hello, I'm a 15 year old teen with lots of pimples and blackheads.  I've tried anything from Clinique exfoliating scrub to Olay cleaning pads.  It seems like nothing is working.  When I tried Clearisil it made me worse.  I need advice on how to get rid of this.  I want to become more presentable.  I'm also getting a couple on my upper back which I think is normal.  These don't bother me as much.  I've tried not touching the ones on my face.  I wash 3 times a day.  I've got a ton on my forehead, many on my nose and some on my chin. Please help! Thanks

Answer
The best thing for you to do is to go to your local Dermatologist and get placed on prescription antibiotics like Doryx, or Dynacin.  You would also need a topical prescription medication like Differin or Retin A or Avar Cream.  You have tried over the counter medications which have not worked.  Now you need to have your acne managed by a doctor.
