Dermatology - Psoriasis origin

Question
Dear Dr Arkasali,

I have had psoriasis for nearly 25 yrs, and also have had other skin problems such as warts, chronic athletes feet and jock itch, etc.  I was able to clear up the athletes foot/jock itch, and the warts with an extended course of Diflucan, which lasted approximately 3 months.  During this time my Psoriasis lesions began to clear up on my elbows and kneees, as well as around my ears and on my scalp. Unfortunately my Dr. refused to keep me on Diflucan any longer due to the potentially toxic effects to my liver .  So after I stopped taking it my psoriasis came back, but luckily it totally eradicated the fungus causing the athletes foot/jock itch, as well as the warts, which up until that point I had no idea they may have been fungal related.  My Dermatologist said they were caused by a virus.  Could it be that what they're calling a Virus is actually a Fungus ???

Furthermore, I would like to ask in your experience, have you found any success using anti-fungal preparations on skin conditions such as Psoriasis, as well as using a yeast-free diet and supplementation with Probiotics ?  In your opinion, what is the root cause of psoriasis ?  In my research, I have gathered that it is a multi-faceted condition, partly caused by over worked liver and kidneys, causing a toxic build-up .  What are your thoughts on this theory ? And what Homeopathic treatments could you suggest for my psoriasis ?

Thank you,
Gary
