Expert: Uribe - 11/13/2006

Question
At lunch today my girlfriend pointed out a burn like rash she had on her shoulder almost where her purse or even maybe her bra strap could have been. The funny thing is it (it almost looks like a hickey type burn)has on the top of it pimple like boils,about five to six. The spot is about 1/8"-1/4" wide and about an inch(1)long. She told me that she had just noticed it the day before because it started to itch really bad, but the pimples had not been there until today......do you know what this could be?

Could be some different things: Contact dermatitis? herpes zoster? etc…is necessary to take a look.

If you can´t, please visit a board certified dermatologist, preferable one at an University teaching Hospital.
