I believe that antiobiotics, particularly broad spectrum AND/OR longterm can leave the immunesystem deficient and unable to fend for itself. They are not particular about the type of bacteria they destroy so wipe them all out - including the good ones! This leaves the take pre-disposed to CANDIDA ALBICANS (lots about this on the web - can be very debilitating!) Your daughter may already have this and it could wellbe contributing to her acne. I have read recently that a diet high in carbohydrate and simple sugars and fats will be a major contributory factor acne - there has been rtc carried out to this effect. Chinese medicine (is very safe!) is very good at sorting out acne. If it were my daughter I would visit a nutritional therapist or preferable a complementary practitioner who can offer nutritional advice and practices Traditional Chinese Medicine. Good luck!
