Please have your thyroid levels checked. I have struggled with Adult acne for almost 10 years going through different dermatolgists with different prescription until I researched on my own (thank God for the internet) and connected my menstrual problems, acne, PCOS, and came out with my own diagnosis of hypothyroidism. Now my thyroid levels are balanced and I don''t have acne anymore. My period is regular (before I get like 4-6 x a year only). Sometimes I wish I knew sooner as to avoid these acne scars but better now than never at all. Check your hormone levels, everything is tied up with our hormones.
