I recently went to a dermatologist secondary to a 40+ year history of acne resulting in awful skin. One of the problems are plugged pores which he diagnosed as Millia. He suggested that to clean the pores out I should stick a needle in the pore to create an exit and then squeeze it out. No other suggestions other than some deeper forms of exfoliation which he did not perform. Does this sound like an appropriate form of treatment? I just can't see doing this for the rest of my life.
