Dermatology/hard red bump
Expert: Uribe - 9/24/2006
QuestionTonight while I was getting ready for bed I noticed this tiny red bump on my upper arm, near my shoulder. At first I thought it was a blood blister because it was so incredibly red. After looking (and picking... I know, I know) at it I thought I saw a whitish head, but after squeezing, and poking and lansing with a needle it would not pop. The lump is hard and solid but very small maybe 2 mm. I am concerned as it just appeared on my body. Any idea what it could be? I am going to be worrying about skin cancer non-stop until I can get into my dermatologist (usually 4-6 weeks) if you can't help me out.
Thanks for your time.
