I have developed a problem under my arm, in the arm pit area.  I have what looked to be a pimple, but now it is hardened and there are more of them.  I noticed today, my other armpit is beginning to get this hardened nodulars, also.

Is this a common problem and what can I do.  it i very uncomfortable and at time itches or burns.

Perhaps is hydradenitits suppurativa...It's necessary to look and to discuss your history...could you take some web cam pictures?... if yes, please send them like attachment to jvelasq51@hotmail.com  with the words JMC in the subject of your mail message (if don't put this words, your mail is discarded). If not, I highly suggest that you make an appointment to see a board certified dermatologist preferably one at university teaching hospitals.
