Expertise
I can answer most questions regarding Detroit Tigers History relating to Parks (Bennett Field/Navin Field/Briggs Stadium/Tiger Stadium and Comerica Park), Players and Managers, as well as, current Tiger questions. Please read the instructions to the questioneer before submitting a question, as I am generally not able to help you in memerobilia values and former or current tiger whereabout, contact info, etc. questions. Also, if would like to know where you can purchase Tiger Stadium seats, please look at websites, such as Ebay and Craigslist, they will have what you're looking for. Thank you.

Experience
The majority of my experience comes from my years of being a fan of the team and the many articles/books that I have read concerning the issues. For my own sake, if I becomed stumped on a question, the internet is a great tool for recieving information.

Question
I have recently bought a "demolition" seat off craigslist.com,I was wondering if you can tell me what section this seat might have come from. It's a traditional seat but it has a old english "D" on the back. My guess would be it's from behind the Tigers bench?

Answer
Dave,

Are you're referring to the "Tiger Den" seats that were installed in the first 10?-15? rows of the infield box towards the end of the stadiums life?  The dark blue cushioned seats with the orange embroidered old english D on the seating.  Than, yes, that is what you have.  I don't believe to many of them were sold at the auction due the wear on the cushions.

If you have Orange plastic seats, those came from the upper deck.  If you have Blue plastic seats, everywhere else.  If you have wooden seats, then you are a proud owner of the "old" tiger stadium seating before the renovations in the 70's.

Hope that helps.
