Digital Photography - SD Memory cards

Expert: sanjay bajaj - 10/25/2009

Question
I bought an hp photosmart M407 from the pawnshop. It works. I bought a SD 2 GB memory card for the camera. Everything was fine until my son wanted to try the video portion of the camera. Now we can't take pictures. All we get is the Card Full. I deleted everything off the card. It says no images on card. I tried formatting the card. Still get Card full. WHat do I need to do to clear the Memory card? Or is the Memory card damaged?

Answer
Hi Sharron,
Delay to answer is regretted as I was searching the HP model history.

The problem is with the HP software and it does not recognize the memory card so ideally I would suggest that you seek local HP service station though by changing a card this will work but no assurance how long again the new card also can get bad.

Also this card does not support beyond 1 GB though somehow your camera did initially as you have mentioned but anyhow if you are buying a new card try out 1 GB for safe response.

Further any clarification please do ask us, we are here to support.
