Question
if i shoot in raw, can i print this format. would like to make
at least 16x20 enlargements. thanks

I think with the right software you should be able to print in raw or jpg. There are a lot of cameras with different versions of a "RAW" format. I think Cannon is trying to set the standard, but we're not there yet, which is why you might need special software just to run the file format. I don't think RAW format will make images any larger. Just a less coruptable format that allows more changes in post without distorting anything like jpg tends to. It depends on your purpose. I know an artist modeling photographer that just uses high end jpg. But like I said I think you could print anything with the right software.
