I'm looking to buy a new Nikon camera online, and there are several packages. Some include a 300mm lens and some include a 200mm lens. Is there a difference? Does the 300mm lens pretty much cover everything a 200mm lens can do. Which is better for potraits?
Loking forward to hearing from you,
Wayne
Answer Hello Wayne
200MM lens means you cover 5 times closer for Zoom, and 300 MM means 8 times closer the application needs to be understood the more zoom means more farthest subject can be captured closely so if you are more of adventure and wild life photographer this will be useful.
For portraits better choice would be 200MM in option but if you are trying to specialize and shoot more portraits try getting yourself 100MM lens.
