Question Greetings, Sanjay,
I recently bought myself a Sony digital camera (point and shoot) DSC - S700. According to the manual, with two AA batteries, it can take up to 100 shots. A few days ago I took it for a test spin and painfully realized that it only takes 45 shots before it shut itself off due to low battery power. Do you think something is wrong with my brandnew camera? Or the manual stretches camera's capabilities a little bit? I use good alkaline batteries (not those cheapos).
What about other digital cameras, not just Sony cameras that use two AA batteries? How many shots can they take before the batteries go down?
Thank you for your time in advance,
Yuzo
Answer Hi Yuzo
Merry Xmas, following factors are to be checked
1. 100 pictures as per manual depends on various conditions, under our normal usage 60-70 pictures are good.
2. Are you using Alkaline battery if so recommended one would be Duracell for better output.
3. Why dont you prefer using recahrgble Nimh battery which will save on cost of buying a pair everytime.
Hope your q is answered good day
