Question Hi
Recently I've pirchased new canon A570IS which is a excelent camera also being a first time user and non professional photographer Iam still exploring it, any ways I've 2 Questions viz:,
1) It has a USB connection so please tell me what is the significance of it and how and where to use it because I do not know any thing about USB, Also recently I've purchased A Philips DVD PLAYER WHICH ALSO HAS a USB PORT, so can I connect my camera to my DVD PLAYER? also A570 has a direct A/V out connection so that I can directly play and view video clips/still shots on my TV so WHAT WILL THIS USB do in addition?
2) Can I get A DIGITAL EXTENDER/OPTICAL LENS which will increase the original optical zoom of 4x to 8x or even 10x

Answer Hi Sameer,
USB Port is for downlaoding pictures to computer for storage/ to connect to Printers for direct printing , Yes you can use the AV Cable to connect the Camera to TV and watch the pictures/ video but for storing you can use USB for computer.
You can get Digital extender but maybe not here in India.
