Question Hello Sanjay. I am looking for a camcorder. I would like to buy a hard drive one. can you please walk me through a buying process. How to choose? what things to look for? price range?. Now if I buy a high definition compatible camcorder, can i view movies on regular TV, Not HD TV? how about the opposite. Last question is: in your experience, which lenses are the best?. buy the way I want the camera only for house use or if I go out in vacation, nothing fancy. thanks Sanjay

Home purpose and good camcorder look for
1. Brand with good service support in your area
2. Good OPTICAL ZOOM in case of HDD camera max available is 20x zoom,
3. HD camera can be played on regular TV and non HD can be also played on HD TV
Suggestion: buy a HDD camera as the replnishment cost would be nil noy buying tapes/ cd dvds/ and transfer would be easy to pc.
Look for a Good Sony HDD camera they are he best in this segment presently not really expensive.
Buying process: 1. Official stores maybe expensive
2. try GREY market will deprive of warranty but difference in cost can be worth the risk.
