Question I live in the states and want to buy as a present for Christmas a digital frame, but I'm wondering whether the AC power adapter is internationally compatible. The person lives in France. Thanks!
Answer Sorry for the delay, Mathilde - I didn't see your question.
The power adapter is probably a convert from AC to DC. So, the AC end of the plug will work with a converter for the French power system. Another option would be to find a power converter that is made for the French system that outputs the same voltage and milliamps that the frame needs. It may be tricky, however, to find one that also fits the frame's socket.
I recommend going to an electronics store that sells the individual power adapters and finding the appropriate plug. Then send that along with the frame.
