Question
hello! my doctor sent me on disability for 3 weeks; because of stress, now the company sent me a letter that I have to pay for my insurance, and the medical costs.can they do that or does the disability dept cover all this costs, or the company, or is it really my responsibility?

Answer
Juan, probably.  You need to check the contract.  Usually, the disability will not charge you premiums for disability but that has nothing to do with your health coverage or other medical costs.  You may want to check with a local attorney to see if the costs should be covered under workman's compensation, if the stress is job related.

I hope this helps,
