Subject: Handicap signs in condo Communities

Question
I need to know the law on why or if Condo assoc. must furnish handicap parking for the Swim Pool parking Lots, & also on the private street Parking areas, and where can I read same...thanks Dennis

Answer
Every State provides a different take on the requirements under the Federal mandated Americans With Disability Act, As long as the minimum requirements are met.

I would go into your local and State websites, and look under disabled parking. Generally, condominium establishments must provide a minimum of parking spaces as determined by the amount of condominiums. The location of those parking spots is determined by local ordinances.
