Disability Law/handy cap parking

Question
I know of a company that is not allowing its' handy cap employees who have a valid handy cap placard permit to park in the handy cap spaces.  The employer says that he needs the spaces for visitors.  Employees comply with this upsurd demand under fear of being terminated.  Can this employer legally restrict valid handy cap employee from using the handy cap parking space and reserve them for his guest and visitor?

Thanks
Ariel

Answer
Ariel, I believe the employers practice will violate the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA) as well as other federal law, and perhaps other state protections in your state.  Contact a local lawyer who specializes in disability law in your area to discuss this matter.
