Question
My daighter recently started getting a SSD check because her father is disabled...I am her represetative payee....will she get backpay.....straight to her....or does he get it?

Answer
Rhonda, with ssd, then she should get a portion of backpay as support as well.  I would call Social Security 1-800-772-1213 and insist on finding out what approximate date the check will be issued, and ensure that they have everything they need from you to get it issued to you.  This way, if there is any error, you can quickly go to court to get the money paid to you.

I hope this helps,
