Plaese inform me regarding time line to file an amendment to a Divoce that settled in 05-06. Thank you. Benjamin
Dear Benjamin,
I am not an attorney, but most divorce decrees have a very limited time for amendments, as in 30 days. Now, as for child custody or support payments, I know these can be changed at times. For the most part, however; a divorce decree stands as signed when the judge pens his signature.
