Question I have been married for 6 months to my husband and separated for almost 3 months he is very controlling and demanding. We have tried going through marriage counseling but that did not help. I have told him how I feel and he just continues to be controlling. I want to get a divorce but can not afford it. I don't have a job and it is very hard for me to try to get one because he has turned my phone off so that no one can call me. Can you please help me I don't know what to do.

A divorce cost anywhere between 250.00 to 300.00 to file. The papers you need are available online or at your states court house, the cost is about 10.00 Maximum.(less if you get them at the court house) You have many options that might not be what you want to do but need to do to get out of this situation. check your local women shelters,they can also help you with filling out your divorce papers,etc. Or stay with family until you can save the money to file for a divorce. there are also agency to assist you Legal-aid. I'm not sure where you live but if you have access to a computer look up legal-aid in ____________(your state.) local women shelters.
