Can I in force a divorce degree myself, and if I can how or do I have to go through a lawyer?

Dear Ruth,

Enforcing a divorce decree is done in several ways. The safest way would be to go through your lawyer. You could also take your ex spouse back to court in order for hte judge to enforce it. Judges have the right to garnish wages and even ask the delinquent spouse to right a check ont eh spot for what ever is owed. Check out this link: http://www.divorcenet.com/states/alabama/al_faq09
