Question well i want to separate from my husban, due to some credit problems i had everything is under his name like bank accounts and the cars, everytime i mentioned that we should separate from our child own good because we do get along and we are always fighting. and he is somehow abusive, the point is that i alreday made up my mind and want to split but he says that he won't let me keep anything even when i had work so hard for everything we have, i also want to mention that he hasn't work fro the past year and i am the only one working in the house; he says that he is going to take all of our monney out the bank and put it under his brother's name
so i don't get not even one penny, i have the titles for both cars but they are under his name just like the bank account as i mentioned before.
what can i do, i need a quick answer i have to leave him as soon as possible, i do not want to come out winning i just want to come out even

One of the best places to start is to get copies of everything legal and financial showing ownership and account balances. Interview a few family lawyers (visit your state bar associations website). A lawyer will be able to tell you how to move forward .
