Question
my ex was given our house in the divorce with the court resevering its right to determin an equitable division it's now been a couple of years and i would like to know what my share in our house is we were married for fourteen years and we owned our house for ten years with my    being the primary income for that time what do i need to file and do i need a divorce attorney or a real estate attorney any help would be great

Answer
Dear James,

I'm not sure I can be of much help. I did some research and wasn't able to come up with anything. I would suggest that you contact both a divorce lawyer and a real estate lawyer and see what they say. I would recommend that you also contact your state bar association about what may be the best route to go (they generally have a lawyer referrral number). Be sure to have your paperwork together when you are one the phone (as this may save you a consultation fee). Sorry I couldn't be much more helpful.
