Question i did a tune up cause it was starting to miss and now that i put it alltogether and finished new cap rotor and plugs it will crank but it wont start un less i push the gas pedal in and then as soon as i let off of it it dies i rechecked everything making sure it was on correct and everthing was seated tightly which they were what would the problom be thanks for the advice i have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 4x4 360
Answer Make sure the cap is in the correct position, not turned at all. Make sure rotor is seated properly. Double check all spark plug wires for tight fit and correct order.
Did you change anything other than the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires?
Possibly do a fuel pressure test and make sure you have correct fuel pressure.
