Dodge Repair - 1989 dodge shadow starting problem

Question
my nephew has a 1989 dodge shadow which ran like crap.i was going to paint the car but it has been sitting a long time.it ran real bad before we parked it.they now want the car done.low and behold i decided to replace the plug,s, cap rotors and plug wires.i can crank the the car over but it makes attempt to start.my brother came over and we checked the spark and we dont have any at the coil.is there a master relay of sorts to check out or rplace?please advise on any ideas.thanks.

If you have the 2.5 or 2.2 you can try and replace the distribtor pickup plate. this is the part under the rotor button.

You also should look at the shut down relay the relay is the one with the green/black wire near the battery
Make sure yoy are getting 12 volts while cranking on that green/black wire.  In the same relay you should have 12 volts on the red wire all the time (key on).
