Question
I have '91 Spirit 4 dr, 155000 km, it is in great condition.  However, I am experiencing a noise the seems to be coming from the front passenger side wheel.  It is a grinding noise. I had the ball bering replaced but I still have the noise.  The noise is only heard when I turn the wheel.  I was told (not by a mechanic) that it could be the CV joint.
What is a CV joint? is it expensive to replace? how long would it take to do?  Most importantly, will my wheel fall off it is not replaced soon.

Answer
Hello Karen

this could be a bad cv joint or beearing on top of the strut . Hun bring it to a good front end shop they will tell you what is going on . it sounds like the cv joint the wheel will not fall off dont worry.

a cc joint is a half shaft it gors from wheel to tranny it is 150 to have replaced in a shop . good luck to u hun and you have a pretty name happy thanks giving pete
