Question I have a 1992 Dodge Spirit, it broke down the other day. Now when I go to start it, it makes one loud click, and then doesnt do anything at all. It has plenty of battery power. What is wrong with my car?
Answer You need to find out if the motor is locked up or if the problem is with the starter.
Try and turn the motor over with a scoket wrench you can locate the bolt on the crankshaft and try to turn the motor. you may have to remove the sparkplugs ,this will allow you to turn the motor with less effort.
