ok i have a friend that has a spirit and it stoped running. when he turns it on the check engine light flashes a code 3,6,11. could you help me out thanks

Ther is not a code 3 or 6 code. Code  11 is distribtor pickup refrence signal

What size motor does he have?


It's a 2.4 i think it's not here, he really doesn't know what it is flashing, but it's it flashes 3 times pauses then 5 or 6, pauses then 10 or 11. He doesn't deal in cars so, and im not at the car.

Sounds like you have a distribtor pickup plate problem.

I think the best thing to do is have someone hook a computer up and get the codes. this can be done at most parts stores(autozone ,Advance) for freen .At least this way you can narrow it down a little. Some of the codes you are getting dont make sense.
