Question I have no heat or ac. we have changed the blower motor, thermistat, and have had the system flushed 3 times in the past 2 years. before the ac went i got smoke out of the vents in the car. before the heat stopped working the check engine light went on. I have also had the computer board changed. i dont know if that matters. at times there is a funny oder when i turn the air on to see if it will work. once every 3 months i have to put very little anifreeze in the car. also, if i push auto on the heating panel on the dash it puts the ac on. some times if i push the air to go at my feet it will go to the windshield.there is also a film on my windshield that wont wash off.

This is a bad heater core it is causeing all your problems you did the wright thing by doing the thermostiac first . and the film on the windows is telling me that the heater core is bad . Have it replaced and it will have good heat and air again . It would be arouund 250 in a good shop . If you need more help let me know hun and you have a very pretty name pete
