QUESTION: replacing solenoid in 02 intrepid. pryed shift cable off pin rotated shiftlink one click past L next step is to remove shift lever, how do we remove and are we talking about the link that the cable was hooked to or the entire pin that runs through the trans

ANSWER: a nut on the side of the shifter loosen the nut and pull off the link on the shift rod.

QUESTION: still jumping into limp mode, will reprogram cure this or do you think I have defective part, or something else shot

ANSWER: no reprogram will fix it   I dont know what wrong U have not told me the issues  U asked me about replacing a solenoid pack.

QUESTION: Asked you in another post about a month ago trans going into limp, was pulling code 0700 & 1776 you said it would be solenoid pack, I R/R but did not do reprogram test drove 2 mile went into limp mode again and am still pulling same 2 codes. any advice?

there is no possible way I can remember all the questions that have been asked on this site  I go through about 15 a day. and second of all I would have said possible solenoid pack  I cant give u a 100% sure answer  I am on the internet and cant see the car first hand.
