Good morning.  It seems as though our 97 Grand Caravan 3.8 has gotten stuck in second gear and it will not shift. Ever heard of this?  Ever heard of it needing to be reset? What would cause this?  What does something like this include? I would appreciate your help.  Thanks and have a great holiday. Kim

oh yes i have heard of this many times what happens is what the compuiter for the tranny louses it mem then the tranny does not know when to shift . the way to reset it is take off the pos. cable for 2 min and then hook it back up then it should shift . if not then a tranny shop will have to reset it with a diagnostic equip. it is 45 dollors for this charge. It is the modern car of to day i do not like it either . good luck to u hun and if you need more help let me know . and u have a pretty name pete
