Dodge Repair - 98 Dodge Neon

Question
Hi Pete,

I have a 98 Dodge Neon when I turn the ignition key to start the car I hear a grinding noise if I leave the ingition in the starting position without starting the car the noise goes away, once I start the car it makes the same grinding noise again and never goes away.

this could be a bad belt pully or even a bad crank bring it to a good shop . and see what they tell and let me know and i will help u on the price . could be a bad water pump bearing to good luck to u hun and u have a very pretty name pete
